COMPATIBILITY NOTICE:
Certain platforms, such as AR9 variants, may require professional gunsmithing to ensure proper function of the selector lever.
Firearms modified to “Super Safety” specifications may not be compatible with components designed for our FRS system, as the Atrius Safety Device features a solid lever cam design.
The Super Safety system incorporates a 15-degree tolerance due to its dovetail construction, which may allow for limited over-travel before the cam surface disengages from the trigger bar.
Selector Screw and Torque Spec: T10 screw, 4/40 thread, McMaster-Carr spring (9657K619). We recommend 15 in/lbs with blue loctite only.
Please Note: This Atrius FRS will not work with AR-10(LR308)/SR-25 platforms without significant gunsmithing. In the near future we will be coming out with a model specifically catered to these platforms.
Important: All modifications should be performed by a qualified gunsmith. Improper installation or unauthorized modification may result in malfunction or unsafe operation. Use and modify at your own risk. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damages or injuries resulting from incorrect installation or use outside of intended specifications.
This device allows your trigger if properly installed, when selected, to become an “eligible FRT” meeting the following 5 conditions as set by the DOJ (NAGR v. Garland) to define “eligible FRT”
The FRT is forcibly reset to its forward reset state after each round fired;
The FRT is locked mechanically in its reset state preventing the trigger from moving until the firearm is safe to fire
The hammer must be released from its sear surface for every round fired;
The trigger in an FRT-equipped firearm must reset after every round fired;
Preventing the reset will cause the weapon to malfunction
