6The ST 12″ Flare Launcher features the latest in design and manufacturing technology. Parts are CAD designed and CNC machined from solid billet material rather than the typical stamped and welded construction of other launchers. The 6061 and 7075 aircraft grade aluminum components are anodized in Type III Hardcoat black for maximum durability and ease of maintenance.
In the United States, 37 mm launchers are exempted from the National Firearms Act of 1934 so long as no anti-personnel rounds are in the user’s possession. Only non-anti-personnel rounds may be possessed or used. Such rounds include:
- flares
- smoke rounds, to include irritating “smoke” such as CS or OC agents
- noise effect (“bird bomb”) rounds
“Signal Rounds” such as Flares & Smoke Are legal to discharge out of a 37mm launcher.
Any type of explosive, incendiary or non-lethal round would be illegal under Federal laws. Exemptions for launchers that are registered as a Destructive Device.
This is not a firearm and does not need to be shipped to an FFL Dealer, however some states have implemented an ” Assult Weapons Ban” and this item may not be allowed to be added to specific firearm. It is the customer’s responsibility to understand and follow their local and state laws.
